Right of withdrawal

First: beginning of performance of the contract

Our products are digital content that we supply as subscriptions. Consumers can order WebDonkey Premium, the SEO package and WebDonkey Pages Personal as monthly subscriptions; we offer all other plans and all annual subscriptions to entrepreneurs only, and the right of withdrawal does not apply to them. When you complete your order you consent to us beginning performance of the contract immediately. Your right of withdrawal lapses as soon as we have supplied your licence and confirmed your consent in the order confirmation. You can cancel any subscription at any time regardless of this.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://shop.webdonkey.io/withdraw. If you use this online function, we will send you without undue delay, on a durable medium (e.g. by email), an acknowledgement of receipt with information on the content of the withdrawal statement and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal for a contract on the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium expires once we have begun performing the contract, provided that

you have expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period,
you have confirmed your awareness that, by giving that consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and
we have confirmed this to you in the order confirmation on a durable medium (§ 356(6) no. 2 of the German Civil Code).

You confirm both when completing your order, by way of a separate confirmation provided for that purpose. Without it the order cannot be completed. We supply your licence immediately afterwards, so that you can use the product you ordered straight away. We record the time of your confirmation and its exact wording and send both to you with your order confirmation.

Because we sell our products exclusively as digital subscriptions and supply them immediately after purchase, withdrawal after a completed order is generally no longer possible.

Cancellation instead of withdrawal

Independently of the right of withdrawal, you may cancel any subscription, licence, add-on or seat individually at any time with effect from the end of the current term: using the “Cancel contracts here” button, which is available without logging in at the foot of every page, in your customer account or informally by email. The subscription then continues until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. Payments already made for the current period are not refunded pro rata unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise. § 5 of our Terms sets out the details.

Entrepreneurs

The right of withdrawal is a consumer right. It does not apply to orders you place in the course of your trade, business, craft or profession; the confirmation described above is then not required.
